Calling all Oxford writers (or writers coming to Oxford!)
Introducing the inaugural monthly Writers’ Night at the Lamb & Flag. 6pm-8:30pm Sunday 31st May with readings of the month’s winning Short Fiction and Poetry Open mic.
Prose winners 6pm start.
Interval 6:45pm.
Poetry Open Mix 7:30pm.
Submissions now open for 100-500 words of engaging prose for first half of evening. This month’s theme ‘Endings and/or Beginnings’.
How you tackle that is up to you. Thrill and enthrall us! Prose reader places are limited so will be chosen for variety and quality by submission. Length 100-500 words max by Friday 22nd May to Kate (hello@kateoldfieldwrites.com)
Successful readers will be notified by Friday 29th.
There will also be 1-2 wildcard spaces available on the night.
Poets no need to submit - just turn up on the night.
