POEMS OF FOOD | Writing taste, memory & longing | online workshop with Jen Feroze | Tuesday 9th June | 7–8.30pm
In this cosy and inspiring workshop, we’ll be exploring food in poetry as a conduit for memory, unlocking emotional responses by looking at the way we cook and eat. With a range of contemporary poems on food to whet your appetite, there will be a selection of prompts and writing exercises to help you gather ideas and get started on several new poems. Suitable for writers of all levels - snacks encouraged!
Gentle and generative, all levels are welcome; if this is your first poetry workshop, wonderful, if this is your 3rd poetry workshop this month you will be inspired to write more poems!
Numbers limited to 16
Fee: £30
Places are limited and go fast so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
